Kylie in Concert
Well after weeks of facebook statuses about Kylie from me, In the end i just wantetd to write a one word review but i don't think you guys would appreciate that but this would be it WOW!
Kylie Minogue's 'Aphrodite: Les Folies tour' Landed in Manchester. The first world tour in three years my expectations were high having been to most of Kylie shows in recent year's .
The show in Manchester had fans ecstatic from the moment she stepped out onto the stage, the show featured classic singles as well songs from the latest album Aphrodite. In addition to the music, The stage was gold and white motivated by Greek mythology including when Minogue comes out of a golden shell on stage, The costumes were extravagant as one of the outfits had her looking like a Greek Messenger, right down to the sandals she wore.
The most phenmomenal part of the show was when she flew across the stage on the back of an angel to perform a cover of the eyrhtmics "There must be an angel" .
If you have seen a Kylie show before you know how she loves to play to the mostly LGBT crowd and trust me this tour is beyond gay, The imagery, The hot half naked men & women, I'm not going to spoil it for the people that have yet to see the show just think MGM musical meets Esther Williams at pride (It really is that camp!), In my opinion it's the best tour since the original showgirl show.
Kylie Minogue is bringing her music to Europe and North America with 54 gigs in addition to concerts in Asia. The tour comes to a close (for the International leg) in Las Vegas at the Caesar's Palace in May.
