Miss Sordid
Here, in her own words, is the fabulous Miss Sordid’s tale of fame…
Well i Started 2 years ago at The New Union Wakefield, it had been another packed Saturday and we were sat round trying to think of new ideas for our quiz night and after a few bevy's, the idea of Miss Sordid was brought to the table.
I started on a Tuesday doing quiz and bingo at Sordids Circus, which i still do to this day...
Shortly after, I started to co-host Saturdays with Marky Mark and started really learning my trade. Once i had found my heels properly i started over at The Sun in Bradford, where i did
a karaoke night on Thursdays and Dj'd Fridays and worked alongside Missy Mincin on alternate Saturdays doing cabaret shows. Last year Bradford Pride saw Missy Mincin, Judy Woods and myself join together to form the Sun's Golden Girls delivering a full day and night of Cabaret shows going right through to the very early hours!
Sadly following a long spell at The Sun, I felt that it was time to rehouse my sequins. So I packed my tits and took off and headed for the bright lights of Leeds and settled at The Bridge on a Friday and returned to doing Saturdays at The New Union.
Last year saw me co-host Wakefield Pride alongside Blanche and Marky and I also joined them for the evening part which was an amazing experience as Wakefield is my home town so it was great to deliver an amazing day to the Wakefield LBGT family!
I now host Fridays down at The Bridge for Sordids Cottage! And join Marky Mark every Saturday at The New Union and of course am still delivering Sordids Circus every Tuesday as well!
This year i look forward to another immense year, and wherever i may land or whatever i may do i know i will always have a scream!
