Meet the Editor
Hello, I am Sarah Carmody and the Editor of Gay Leeds. I am incredibly excited to be working on such a fantastic project along with a brilliant team.
I am 32 years old and live in Leeds with my partner (soon to be wife!) and her 2 children who are 12 and 15. Also, we have a dog and guinea pigs, which only helps add to the madness and fun that is our home.
Previously, I have been a Loss Adjuster and a Community Services manger and was also part of the team that enabled people to move out of Meanwood Park Hospital and help them begin to live their own lives.
Writing is my passion and as well as being the editor of this amazing site, I am also doing a Journalism degree, which I am enjoying very much and gives me time to balance childcare arrangements with my partner who is a nurse.
Together with my partner and her children, we go on a lot of holidays and trips out and generally do lots of things all together.
Hobbies include reading (when my partner stops talking for long enough!) Also, we go to the theatre and cinema and out for meals regularly
